Karen B. King

Karen King is a US patent attorney with over twenty-five years of experience drafting and prosecuting US and ex-US patent applications, managing global patent portfolios, preparing freedom-to-operate opinions related to patent validity and enforceability, and negotiating contracts.  She has worked in private practice and as in-house counsel for various pharmaceutical companies, including Bayer Corp., Pfizer Inc., and PTC Therapeutics on patent issues related to biotechnology, small molecule chemistry, medical devices, and pharmaceutical formulations.  She also has experience with trademark registration and clearance work.
